Cenlo offers extensive knowledge in this field and was one of the first companies to offer radon mitigation services accross Canada. Don McEwen, owner of Cenlo Engineering, founded Canada Radon Inc. in 2013. Over the past decade, Canada Radon and has performed testing and mitigation work across Canada for various Federal and Provincial entities (RCMP, Schools, OPP, CBRE, etc.) along with hundreds of residential customers and has become a national leader in radon mitigation. Canada Radon Inc. was sold in the spring of 2022 and Mr. McEwen remains active as a consultant. Cenlo Engineering Inc. continues to offer radon mitigation services under Cenlo Engineering Inc.

Sump Seal Radon Mitigation
CONTACT US FOR MORE INFORMATION Cenlo Engineering Inc. has developed a system that allows us to utilize your existing sump pit to create a suction field underneath your concrete floor to remove the radon gas. This system is similar to the sub-slab depressurization system with the main difference being that we use the sump pit instead of coring a new hole in the foundation floor. Our sump suction system adapts to your existing sump area including all pumps and discharge lines. We also install new sump pits if required.

System includes top suction, durable, cast-iron primary pump, vertical float switch for automatic operation, high-flow, corrosion-resistant, battery back-up pump with reliable reed float switch, a battery box and charger and heavy-duty check valves. The sump is sealed with Lexan, includes a high water alarm, and gas proof drain.
